Marissa Pridmore is an associate with Long Reimer Winegar LLP. Marissa joined the firm in 2021 and works in the Cheyenne office.
Education and Licensure: Marissa earned her B.A. in History from Thomas Edison State University of New Jersey, and later earned her Juris Doctor at the University of Wyoming College of Law, graduating with honors. Marissa is licensed to practice law in Wyoming.
Prior Experience: Prior to law school, Marissa worked in Denver, Colorado in a small general-practice law firm as a paralegal and legal assistant. While there, she managed the estate planning department. During that time, Marissa also earned her private pilot’s license.
In all three years of law school, Marissa was a member of the University of Wyoming’s Jessup International Moot Court debate team, and was recognized as a “Top 10 Oralist” in the U.S. Rocky Mountain Regional competition. During her final year of law school, Marissa worked in the International Human Rights Clinic and was given the Outstanding Student award for 2020-2021. Marissa also worked with Professors Tara Righetti and Kris Koski during the summer of 2020 as a student contributor on a research project for the United States Energy Association. The project focused on the existing legal framework for geologic carbon sequestration in the United States. Following the conclusion of that project, Marissa continued to work as Professor Righetti’s research assistant in the geologic carbon sequestration area.
