Erika M. Nash

Erika joined the firm of Long Reimer Winegar LLP in September 2008 as an associate, and in April 2012 became a partner in the firm.  She has extensive experience in her practice areas of Real Estate and Land Use with an emphasis in simple and complex transactional real estate acquisition and disposition (residential and commercial), conservation easements, land use and civil litigation including tax appeals, banking/corporate law, employment law, and property rights in general.  She has lived in Wyoming since 1993, and appreciates the benefits of living in such a wide-open and special place, while understanding the complexity and nuances of multiple uses and various rights across such land.  She has experience in district courtrooms around the state, as well as before the Wyoming Supreme Court, and is also licensed in Bankruptcy Court and the US District Court of Wyoming, Tenth Federal Circuit.  When not working, she spends her time with her daughter and being adventurous outdoors.

Education & Licensure

Erika received a B.A. in English, magna cum laude, from University of Wyoming in 2001, and then her  J.D., with honors, in 2005 from the University of Wyoming College of Law. Ms.

Erika is presently admitted to practice before the Wyoming State Bar, the United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Wyoming, and the U.S. District Court of Wyoming.

Community Service

In 2014, Erika completed her service as President of the Teton County Bar Association beginning in 2010, having previously served as Treasurer for three years. She is serving her second three-year term on the Wyoming State Bar’s Committee on Resolution of Fee Disputes, and she is a Board Member and Vice President of the Wyoming State Bar Foundation. Erika is serving for the second time on the Wyoming State Bar’s Women’s Law Forum Committee, and she assisted in the establishment of the Teton County Access to Justice Center. She is also a Board Member of Jackson Hole Community Radio, and volunteers weekly at this community radio station as a disc jockey. In 2014, Erika was elected for a three year term as a Wyoming State Bar Commissioner for the Ninth Judicial District.

Prior Experience

Ms. Nash worked as a litigator at the Richard Law Firm in Jackson, Wyoming, for two and a half years prior to joining Long Reimer Winegar Beppler.
