Kate W. Allen

Kate is an attorney in the firm’s Casper office, where she focuses her practice on business and real estate transactions, with an emphasis tax-driven structuring. Kate’s transactional practice includes advising clients on entity formation and restructuring, contract negotiation, asset and equity transactions, real estate acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, and general business operations. Her experience spans a broad range of deal sizes and complexity, from smaller business and real estate transactions to sophisticated, high-dollar matters. Kate takes a pragmatic approach to transactional work, with a strong emphasis on tailoring solutions to the client’s circumstances and goals.

Education & Licensure

Kate received a B.A. with honors in anthropology from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2008, and earned her J.D. in 2013 at the University of Southern California. She is a candidate for a master of laws in taxation (LL.M.) from New York University, with an expected completion in 2026.

Kate is licensed to practice law in Wyoming and California.
