Ryan M. McGuffey
Ryan is a partner in the firm’s Denver, Colorado and Cheyenne, Wyoming offices. He has been practicing law for over 15 years, and is currently licensed to practice in both Colorado and Wyoming. Ryan focuses his law practice on complex trust, estate, and tax planning, trust and estate administration, wealth succession planning, and business planning.
A Wyoming native, Ryan attended the University of Wyoming and was a member of the University’s football team. Ryan enjoys long distance running, and supporting University of Wyoming athletics and Denver sports teams.

Ryan received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Wyoming (2004) and his J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law (2008). While earning his undergraduate degree he was also a member of the University of Wyoming football team.
Ryan is licensed to practice law in Colorado and Wyoming.
Community Service
RRyan has formerly sat on the Board of Directors of: Meals on Wheels (Cheyenne, Wyoming); Boys and Girls Club (Cheyenne, Wyoming); Louisa Swain Foundation (Laramie, Wyoming) and the Denver Urban Scholars (Denver, Colorado).
Memberships & Professorships
Ryan is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). He is a member of the Wyoming Bar Association, and Colorado Bar Association. Ryan has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law (Estate Planning) and has served as a guest lecturer on numerous occasions for the Business Planning Course at the University of Wyoming College of Law.
